Overview

Kingspawn Coral is a striking Euphyllia hybrid, combining the branching structure of Frogspawn with the broader, anchor-like tips of Hammer Coral. The result is a uniquely textured colony with tentacles that catch light beautifully as they sway, and it shares the hardy, adaptable nature of its parent species.

Behaviour and Placement

As with other Euphyllia, Kingspawn carries a semi-aggressive temperament and will sting nearby corals with its tentacles if space is tight. Place it at the bottom to middle of the tank with ample clearance, in moderate lighting and flow to encourage full, natural extension.

Feeding

Kingspawn will take target feeds of meaty foods such as mysis or brine shrimp a couple of times a week, which supports healthy growth and vibrant colouration on top of its photosynthetic needs.

Care Tips

Keep water parameters stable to avoid stress and tissue recession.
Provide moderate lighting and flow suited to Euphyllia species.
Give the colony plenty of room to expand and sway without contacting neighbours.

Compatibility

Kingspawn is reef compatible but, like all Euphyllia, should be kept at a safe distance from more delicate or slow-growing corals. It's generally compatible with other semi-aggressive LPS given proper spacing.
