Keep your Aqua Ultraviolet UV Sterilizer running like new by replacing the UV Lamp!

Any light, over time will start to degrade which means the spectrum will shift and also the amount of light (energy) output will become lower than a new bulb. We suggest changing the lamp out once every year, but it greatly depends on how long it is on. When changing out the lamp it is important to change the quartz sleeve as they can become cloudy and coated with mineral deposits over time decreasing the effectiveness of the UV Lamp.
