Overview

Herbivorous marine fish like tangs and rabbitfish need a genuinely high proportion of plant matter in their diet, and messy seaweed clips or nori sheets aren't always practical day to day. Hikari Seaweed Extreme Small Sinking Pellet solves this with a small sinking pellet containing more than 67% natural seaweed, giving herbivores a convenient, mess-free way to get the greens they need.

The pellets soften rapidly on contact with water, taking on a texture similar to wet nori and making them highly palatable to grazing species.

Key features
  • Contains more than 67% natural seaweed, including nori
  • Small sinking pellet formula ideal for smaller marine herbivores
  • Softens rapidly in water for easy, natural grazing
  • Enriched with astaxanthin and stabilised vitamin C to support colour and immune health
Who it's for

Suited to tangs, rabbitfish, damselfish, angelfish, and other herbivorous or omnivorous marine fish that need regular access to plant matter.

Setup & tips
  • Feed only what fish will consume within about a minute, two to three times a day
  • Start with smaller feedings until you've found the right amount for your specific mix of fish
  • Note that colour can vary slightly between production batches due to the high natural ingredient content — this doesn't affect nutritional quality
  • Store sealed in a cool, dry place to preserve freshness
