Overview

Loose or slipping hose connections are one of the most common causes of a slow leak or an unplanned flood under a reef tank stand. Hose Clamps - Nylon from Sanking give you a simple, corrosion-proof way to secure tubing and hose connections firmly in place, keeping plumbing joins tight over the long term.

Being nylon rather than metal, they're built specifically to handle a saltwater environment without the rust or corrosion issues that plague standard hardware-store clamps.

Key features

Nylon construction, fully corrosion-resistant in a saltwater environment
Simple, secure clamping action for hose and tubing connections
Inexpensive and easy to keep spares of for any plumbing job

Who it's for

Anyone plumbing or maintaining a reef system with flexible tubing connections — return lines, dosing tubing, ATO lines, or any hose-to-barb fitting that needs a secure, corrosion-free hold.

Setup & tips

Tighten firmly but avoid overtightening on soft tubing, which can pinch and restrict flow
Check clamps periodically, especially on lines that see regular flexing or vibration
Keep a small stock on hand, since they're cheap and easy to run short of mid-project
Use on both ends of any flexible hose run for a genuinely secure connection
