Overview

Connecting Neptune Systems modules over greater distances — say, from one side of a large tank to the other, or between a display and a separate equipment area — needs a genuinely longer Aquabus cable than the standard lengths provide. The Neptune Systems 15' Aquabus Cable (M/M) is built specifically for these longer runs.

It's included with Neptune's Automatic Feeding System and is a great solution any time your Apex components need to be connected above or below the tank over real distance.

Key features

15ft male-to-male Aquabus cable connecting one Neptune Systems module to another
Ideal for connecting components over greater distances than standard 1ft, 3ft or 6ft cables allow
Can be daisy-chained or connected in a star configuration via an Energy Bar
Supports up to 200ft of total Aquabus cable per system

Who it's for

Anyone with a Neptune Systems Apex setup who needs to connect modules or accessories over a longer distance than shorter standard cables can reach.

Setup & tips

Never connect a computer or USB device to this cable — despite the resemblance, it isn't a USB cable and can damage your equipment
Avoid creating a loop when connecting multiple modules; daisy-chain or star configurations both work fine
Aim for one powered Neptune accessory, such as an Energy Bar, for every 75ft of total cable run
Route the cable neatly to avoid unnecessary tension on connectors over its longer length
